Australian and New Zealand public servants are invited to take a survey as part of a new project examining innovation skills and capabilities within the public sector.

The project is a collaboration between ANZSOG, Monash Sustainable Development Institute (MSDI) and The Governance Lab at NYU Tandon (GovLab) to design innovation-focused education and training programs for the public sector.

The 10-minute survey is now live. Take the survey here.

The survey is part of a global study on the new ways public servants are working to solve problems. The results will culminate in a report on public sector innovation.

The survey aims to:

shed light on public service knowledge of new approaches, such as human-centred design and open innovation
enable better understanding of current innovation capabilities within the public sector
and inform future training programs

The survey is open to federal and state public servants, regardless of whether or not they are familiar with key public sector innovation concepts. The survey includes definitions and other information to help participants.Take the survey here.
