ANZSOG is seeking a proactive IT Helpdesk Analyst to streamline our IT services.

The role will provide broad ITC helpdesk services to around 65 staff located in Melbourne (headquarters), Sydney, Canberra and New Zealand.

ANZSOG has several ITC sourcing arrangements in place. For services out-sourced the incumbent will be required to coordinate service delivery; and directly deliver the insourced ITC services. The incumbent will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that ICT services are of the highest quality regardless of the sourcing arrangement.

The incumbent will streamline services in order to spend more time with staff to really add value; for example to deliver training and maximise the use of business applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Employee lifecycle support e.g. pre-employment ITC setup through to off-boarding
  • General and specialised support
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Testing and quality assurance
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)


You will have demonstrable experience in a Service Desk Analyst or IT Support Officer role (Level 1 and 2) and experience supporting the following is critical:

  • Office 365 i.e. SharePoint, Teams
  • Device provisioning i.e. deployment, user training, asset management
  • Modern workplace support e.g. video conferencing, interactive whiteboards 
  • Working with managed service providers, we lots of services outsourced such as identity and access, device management, LAN, WAN, printing

Relevant tertiary qualifications and Microsoft and ITIL Foundation certifications would be an advantage, along with experience in the Higher Education sector.
