ANZSOG seeking Indigenous Engagement Advisor

ANZSOG is seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Advisor, Indigenous Engagement, based at our head office in Melbourne, Victoria. 

Reporting to the Deputy Dean (Teaching and Learning), the Advisor on Indigenous Engagement will enrich the work of the School, with a specific focus on ANZSOG programs and partnerships that relate to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities in Australia and Māori in Aotearoa-New Zealand. In supporting the Dean and CEO, Deputy Dean (Teaching and Learning), Associate Dean (University Relations) and the Director of Government Relations, the Adviser on Indigenous Engagement will provide high quality advice and analysis.

The Advisor on Indigenous Engagement will work with ANZSOG for an initial period of 12 months (with possibility for renewal by mutual agreement) to engage and consult with stakeholders across jurisdictions, in particular, supporting and developing networks and connections with Indigenous Affairs agencies, Public Service Commissions or equivalent agencies and Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Māori public sector leaders across Australian and New Zealand communities. This role will include leadership across the organisation, stakeholder government and faculty engagement, input to strategic planning, and special projects.
