ANZSOG and ANU seeking Sir John Bunting Chair of Public Administration

ANZSOG and the School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) at the Australian National University (ANU) are seeking to appoint a person of international renown to the Sir John Bunting Chair of Public Administration. The appointee will be expected to primarily make contributions to the research activities of ANZSOG as Deputy Dean (Research) as well as meet some of the teaching needs of the School. The successful candidate will have outstanding records of demonstrated excellence in research, publications, and education. 

The Sir John Bunting Chair of Public Administration is expected to exercise a special responsibility in providing leadership and in fostering excellence in research and make significant, independent, and original contributions to the field of Public Administration and Governance, ANZSOG’s research program within their field of expertise and provide leadership to the ANZSOG organisational unit at ANU. The person will work collaboratively within the ANZSOG network of scholars and practitioners across the two countries and internationally. 

The position will be located within the School of Politics and International Relations at the ANU in Canberra and reports to the Head of School.
