The best place in the world to be a child

What do strong and supportive communities look like from a child’s perspective and how well are we doing?

In an article published on 6 March this year following Children’s Day, PM Ardern wrote: "the way we treat children, the way we look after their wellbeing, and the way we ensure the lives they lead are full of opportunity says so much about what kind of country we are." How can we match this inspiring commitment to what we know about how children feel about their communities? And will our new focus on reducing child poverty and enhancing children’s well being be durable and comprehensive enough to make a difference to the children who need it the most? Please join our two experts as we look through children’s eyes at one of the greatest public policy challenges of our time.
