BehaviourWorks Australia team will give participants the opportunity to apply new knowledge, skills and tools to their current projects and programs.
“So much government activity is about behaviour change,” according to Dr Liam Smith. “We increase the odds of success by opening up new ways of thinking and revealing new methods and tools.”
Influencing human behaviour will help participants understand how to avoid common behaviour change mistakes. Participants will develop a better understanding of behavioural drivers; discover how to design and test interventions supported by the right data and methods to collect the right data, and how to evaluate impact.
You will develop the ability to understand a problem at a systems level and then drill down to identify and prioritise specific audiences and behaviours to address.
You will leave this workshop better equipped to use tools that can increase the chances of behaviour change in a target audience. The methods covered in this workshop can be scaled for projects of different sizes and with different budgetary parameters.
Influencing human behaviour has been designed for people leading government programs, and who are keen to understand how behaviour plays a role in the success of their program.
Over two days, the BehaviourWorks Australia team will use case studies and compelling examples of behavioural solutions in the public sector to show participants how to apply a behavioural lens to problems faced by policy makers at any level.
