Everyone’s future: planning for an ageing workforce

Across the developed world, population ageing is changing our societies as well as the size and composition of the workforce. Kiwis are entering older age better educated and in better health than ever before. Logically, as life expectancy extends, so should our working lives. But do we have the range and sensitivity of policy settings to ensure that older people who want to keep working, are able and encouraged to do so?
