Please note: This event is only open to members of the National Regulators Community of Practice.

Regulatory managers cannot move to operationalise regulatory vision and strategic intent unless they know where they are, what they are required to deliver, what needs to change, and what is involved in the process.

This highly interactive, one-day workshop explores the challenges of regulatory leadership, identifies opportunities for collaboration within and across regulatory and non-regulatory functions, and demonstrates the importance of taking a holistic approach to develop realistic and achievable action lists to take back to the workplace.

What will you learn?

At the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear understanding of the:

  • importance of aligning regulatory activities with regulatory outcomes
  • key component parts required to support effective regulatory delivery
  • main challenges associated with operationalising regulatory vision and intent
  • increasing importance of ‘regulatory stewardship’ for regulators
  • leadership and advocacy dimension of regulatory management
  • importance of integrity, ethics, and self-awareness in regulatory leadership.

Who should register?

Connecting regulatory management, leadership and practice is aimed at executives and managers with significant operational regulatory responsibilities, and/or those with enabling or supporting roles in respect to the organisation’s regulatory delivery.
