The Evidence and Evaluation Hub conducts collaborative research and develops resources aimed at:

  • building evaluative knowledge and procedures within organisations
  • improving the science of evaluation
  • promoting best practice evaluative methods.

Research and resources

  • Applied research in partnership with member governments, to produce high-quality research for evidence and decision-making.
  • Evidence Base journal publishes evidence reviews of policy areas, with the focus on deriving implications for decision makers.
  • Developing resources relating to outcomes measurement for government and not-for-profit sectors.
  • BetterEvaluation website (, an international collaboration to improve evaluation by creating and sharing information on choosing and using evaluation methods and processes.
