Dr Sandra Heriot is currently the Director of Service System Reform at the Department for Family and Communality Services (FACS).
Dr Heriot is responsible for the implementation of evidence based programs as part of the Their Futures Matter reform. She has held a number of other positions in FACS and was previously the Director of Psychological Services. She is a registered psychologist with an endorsed area of practice in clinical psychology and has been an adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology at Sydney University.
Prior to joining FACS, Dr Heriot was Director at MH-Kids, the child and adolescent mental health policy, planning and service unit for NSW.
She is committed to working to improve the safety and wellbeing of children and families.
