Dr Nick Fleming is the Founding Director of Innergise – a firm focused on fuelling progress, performance and prosperity by helping people to conceive, design and execute smarter strategies, programs and projects.
For nearly over 25 years Dr Fleming has consulted across infrastructure, water, natural resources, energy, mining, defence and social welfare sectors throughout Australia, New Zealand, south-east Asia, the UK and Americas, receiving multiple awards for his work. He is an active thought leader, speak and author tackling the real impediments to thriving organisations, societal progress and sustainable communities.
Prior to founding Innergise, Dr Fleming held roles including Director of Business Innovation for Jacobs Group (Australia) and Global Chief Sustainability Officer for SKM. He was taskforce chair for Infrastructure Partnerships Australia, and Board director with the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia.
Today, Dr Fleming remains active across industry sectors. He sits on the boards of South Gippsland Water and Engineers Australia, is an invited member of the Network for Sustainable Financial Markets and an active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He works extensively with a range of government and private sector clients across Australia on issues of public policy development, policy implementation and organisational strategy, particularly in highly-complex multi-stakeholder environments requiring removal of impediments to progress and leadership development.
