Dr Nick Fleming is the founding director of Innergise – a firm focused on fuelling progress, performance and prosperity by helping people to conceive, design and execute smarter strategies, programs and projects.For nearly 25 years Dr Fleming has consulted across infrastructure, water, natural resources, energy, mining and defence sectors throughout Australia, New Zealand, south-east Asia, the UK and Americas, receiving multiple awards for his work.
Prior to founding Innergise, Dr Fleming held roles including Director of Business Innovation for Jacobs Group (Australia), and global Chief Sustainability Officer and manager for technology and innovation for SKM. He was taskforce chair for Infrastructure Partnerships Australia, and Board director with the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia.
Today, Dr Fleming remains active across industry sectors. He is a director of the Board of Engineers Australia, an invited member of the Network for Sustainable Financial Markets and an active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He also lectures on integrated design of infrastructure at the University of Melbourne in the School of Engineering.
He works with a range of government and private sector clients across Australia on issues of public policy development, business model redesign, innovative project strategies and leadership development.
