Natasha Ryan is an Assistant Secretary in the Department of Health where she has spent more than a decade working on complex social and health policy. In her most recent role, Natasha was responsible for a key component of Medicare (specialist services). Natasha is known for her energy and ability to motivate others, her stakeholder engagement skills, developing risk aware cultures, and her commitment to increasing capability in the APS including through the adoption of innovative ways of working. Natasha studied Commerce, majoring in Commercial Law, and has an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Australia and New Zealand School of Government. Natasha is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Director of Dark Carnival Pty Ltd, an ACT business specialising in martial arts training and performance coaching.
