Mr Goh Siow Chong is the Chief Information Officer of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore. He is responsible for leading the use of technology to transform business processes and especially the use of analytics and advanced geospatial/ 3D technology for urban planning and design. He has been directly involved in building many digital platforms to support collaborative planning with other government agencies. He also oversees the URA’s Digital Planning Lab which promotes the good use of data and advance digital planning tools, builds analytics capability within the organisation, and explores emerging planning technologies. This entails partnering research institutes and technology leaders in research collaborations.

Mr Goh graduated with Bachelor of Engineering (Computing Science) with 1st Class Honours from the Imperial College London. He also holds a Master of Technology (Software Engineering) degree from National University of Singapore, Specialist Diploma in Counselling, and Six Sigma Black-belt certification.
