Dan Croucher is currently an Assistant Director with the Murray-Darling Basin Authority with a focus on stakeholder management and strategic engagement, a role held since mid-2018.
Before this, Dan held senior roles with the South Australian Government in both Primary Industries and Regions, and Water and Environment. Dan led strategic policy development, major program delivery, asset management, strategic investments and industry development. Dan has around 14 years’ experience in water policy, strategy and management in the Murray-Darling Basin and led many complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
Dan has extensive experience working with stakeholders to co-design, formulate and implement policy and projects and enjoys creative problem solving with fresh perspectives and new ideas.
He holds a Diploma in Project Management, a Bachelor of Natural Resources Management, and an Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) from Flinders University in South Australia.
