Catherine O’Sullivan is the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Pathways and Partnerships at Bond University, driving the University’s engagement with schools, business, community and industry organisations.
In a career defined by her dedication to women’s leadership and education, she was honoured as the Queensland Telstra Business Woman of the Year in 2002 and now serves as a judge of both the state and national awards program.
In 2014, Catherine was recognised as one of Queensland’s ‘Top 50 Best and Brightest’ and, in 2015, she was appointed to the Harvard Kennedy School of Government Entrepreneurial Women’s Leadership Board.
Her ‘Yarning Up’ initiative for Bond University was honoured with the 2016 Queensland Premier’s Reconciliation Award and the ATEM/Campus Review Award for Excellence in Community Engagement.
She is also a board member of Screen Queensland, Somerset College, Bleached Arts, and Redland City Council’s Economic Development Committee and in 2016 Chaired the Independent Appeal Fund Distribution Committee on behalf of Givit for the Dreamworld tragedy.
