Research Committee
The Research Committee of the Board has been established primarily to recommend to the Board of Directors a strategy for the research program of ANZSOG. It does this by:
- reviewing the School’s research program
- determining and recommending to the Board an appropriate strategy for the research program
- overseeing the implementation of the research strategy on behalf of the Board
- assisting the School in seeking funding for selected projects within the research program

The current membership of the ANZSOG Research Committee is:

- Prof Allan Fels AO, Dean, ANZSOG
- Dr Martin Parkinson PSM, Secretary to the Treasury (Chair)
- Prof John Wanna, ANZSOG Research Director
- Dr Lynne Williams, Under Secretary, Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance
- Dr Ian Winter, Director, Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI)
- New Zealand Representative (vacant)
Committee Proceedings
In accordance with the Charter, the ANZSOG Research Committee is required to meet at least once a year. At these meetings, the Research Committee generally considers the following:
- ANZSOG’s overall research strategy and priorities
- Proposals for ANZSOG research funding
- Progress reports for projects currently receiving ANZSOG research funding
- Research reports from the ANZSOG research director
- Updates on ANZSOG’s research-related activities
