The China Competition Bulletin is a monthly publication from the China Competition Research Centre (CCRC). Edition 19: China Competition Bulletin

In this edition of the China Competition Bulletin, we report on the official launch of the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (GUCAS) Centre for Competition Law (GCCL), a new platform of the competition community affiliated with the cutting edge of research and development in China. The high-profile Antitrust Civil Litigation Forum 2012 was held in Beijing where attendees discussed a series of topical issues over two days. Obtaining merger clearance from China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) is now the last hurdle for Google’s takeover of Motorola Mobility. The Tencent abuse of dominance case was heard on 18 April 2012.
