This is a four-day course designed to develop a range of skills in the policy arena.
Topics include: how government works; the policy process, including the policy cycle, analysis, options
and decision-making; the nature and use of economic tools in policy-making; stakeholder engagement; and building
strategic capacity for policy-making.
Who should attend?
The course is open to experienced managers in the Victorian Public Service.
The most appropriate VPS levels would be 5 and 6.
