Executive Fellows Program


 

Program overview

The Executive Fellows Program brings together 80 senior executives and is facilitated by leading academics and experienced practitioners from Australia, New Zealand and overseas. The learning environment is engaging and dynamic, focusing on real-life issues and challenges faced by senior public sector executives in State, Commonwealth and New Zealand governments.

The Executive Fellows Program (EFP) is:

  • a three week residential program with 80 participants
  • tailored to help senior executives to enhance core leadership and management skills needed to direct organisations within the public sector
  • modelled on the best executive offerings in the USA and UK tailored to Australian and New Zealand environmental context and local needs
  • a dynamic mix of theory, case studies and challenging exercises
  • taught by the best Australian and overseas academics and practitioners

About the Director

The Executive Fellows Program Director Robin Ryde was formerly the CEO of the UK's National School of Government. Robin co-founded and ran the 4-nation (Australia, Canada, NZ, UK) Leadership Across Borders programme and has worked for a number of public service bodies in Australia over recent years. He has delivered consultancy across the commercial and public sector in the UK, the US and other jurisdictions including Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and Eastern Europe.

Application Process

The application process for the Executive Fellows Program (EFP) commences in June/July for program delivery in approximately October/ November of the same year. Application forms are available through each central coordinating agency.
