Executive Fellows Program Executive Masters of Public hort Courses

EMPA Admission

To enrol in the EMPA, use our application form which can be obtained from your point of contact within government. Your first enquiry should be to your L+D Unit.

Students enrolling in the EMPA will demonstrate:

  • strong evidence of leadership potential including potential to contribute at the senior executive level as part of the next generation of public sector leaders
  • clearly and consistently above average work performance
  • sound management capability/potential
  • commitment and ability to contribute to class learning, to learn from others and to share learnings in the workplace
  • strong commitment to career development and to a career in the public sector
  • capacity to complete a rigorous master's program (usually evidenced by successful completion of an undergraduate degree)
  • in most cases, at least five years relevant work experience

Due to strong demand students are initially employees of the sponsoring governments. After selection by the employer, there are two steps in the enrolment process. The first is enrolment at ANZSOG. After acceptance at ANZSOG, the applicant then enrols at one of the partner universities.

If you are accepted at ANZSOG, we assist you with your application to the partner university.

The partner universities have different entry criteria, on which ANZSOG is happy to advise, in particular where an applicant has no degree.

ANZSOG cannot guarantee enrolment into the course at any partner university.
