Review of EMPA program

The first students of the ANZSOG Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) completed their two years of study during 2005, and a review of the program was conducted. The School engaged an external EMPA Review Committee chaired by Mr Andrew Podger, AO, with Professor Michael Wood, Executive Dean of Curtin Business School, Professor Jonathon Boston, Victoria University, and Dr Deirdre O’Neill, Academic Director of the EMPA.

The role of the EMPA Review Committee was to analyse, review and report upon the data generated by questionnaires, other submitted material and consultations with sponsoring agencies and academic institutions. The EMPA Review Committee was asked to prepare a report for the Board and the recommendations were adopted by the Board at its meeting in February 2006.

You can review the report here.

The School is now working on implementing the recommendations in the Report.
