PACE participants meet in Canberra for yet another successful delivery

The new Academic Director of the Pacific Executive (PACE) Program, Dr Richard Norman, has begun his tenure with a strong focus on the work projects that lie at the heart of the international capacity building program.

Dr Norman, who oversaw the design and delivery of the Stage 1 workshop for the 2011 PACE cohort in Canberra in August and September, says the projects – which participants develop in Canberra before returning home to put into effect – are what distinguish it from so many other such international programs.

Applied Learning Partnership Programs at ANZSOG

State Services Authority Victorian Government Partnership Program

Five years after Victoria became the first jurisdiction to join with ANZSOG to deliver an Applied Learning program, an extensive evaluation of activities during 2010-2011 has found the program is effectively achieving its aim of offering relevant, thought provoking and influential events for practitioners, with every event held in 2011 scoring highly for participant satisfaction. The State Services Authority (SSA) survey also found overwhelming support for continuing its free lunchtime events in the CBD. ANZSOG and the SSA have agreed to sign a new agreement for 2012-2013, with fresh initiatives such as user-friendly links to relevant publications.

The Case Program now holds more than 120 case studies

It has been another active year for the Case Program, which now holds 120 case studies in its online library. As can be seen from the cases loaded since the last publication of ANZSOG News, the range of topics and potential teaching uses, continues to expand:
