Marti Eller is General Manager, Family and Community Services (FACS) within the Ministry of Social Development. The Ministry of Social Development provides strategic social policy advice to the New Zealand Government and provides social services to more than one million New Zealanders.

Within this Ministry FACS role is to improve the delivery of social services through planning, co-ordination and collaboration. FACS has particular interest in early intervention programmes, family violence prevention and parenting support, as well as managing government funding of significant social service programs.

This keeps Marti fairly busy, but she is always ready to meet with other public servants to enthuse about the ANZSOG program - she attended the EFP in 2007.

Marti has worked for a number of other government agencies, including the Departments of Labour and Courts, Career Services and the Education and Training Support Agency.
